The 2019 Annual Conference on International and Area Studies of Chinese Universities held in Shanghai International Studies University

        On December 29-30, 2019, the Annual Conference on International and Area Studies of Chinese Universities was held at Songjiang Campus of Shanghai International Studies University. This was the first ever annual national conference since the Ministry of Education launched international and area studies in 2011. Officials and scholars from more than 400 research centers in 158 universities across the country attended the meeting.
